Its 45 floors make Torre Picasso a constant reference for the Madrid citizen. Its architect, Minoru Yamakasi , is also the designer of several other notable buildings in many of the world's most dynamic cities. Torre Picasso was projected from start with one aim in mind: to house high-standing offices.
Structure:
The mixed structure of the building combines pre-stressed concrete in its base with pillar and girders until the crowing of the building. The framework is made of sheet and light concrete. All the structure is fire protected with fire-resistant mortar. This framework allows for the design of large and clear spaces -thus achieving a good application of the layout.
Façade: The combination of thermal windows with an aluminum locking system result in a façade with a remarkable thermal and acoustic isolation. Tenants thus enjoy an actual and considerable degree of comfort.
Exterior Zones: The building is surrounded by ample green areas. Entrances are floored with granite.
Common Areas: The architectural finishings are made with top-quality materials. Marble in lobbies and elevators, fire resistant ornamental covers with texturglass finishing, registrable metallic ceiling and fire-resistant anti-static fitted carpet. All floors have independent restrooms at the disposal of tenants.
Office Areas: Modular and registrable fire resistant ornamental covers with texturglass finishing, fire-resistant and lacquer interior façades, and fire-resistant anti-static fitted carpet canalized floor for the different office facilities. Sanitary water connection and outlet drainpipes are found in order to locate possible restrooms and office, as well as the water connection of the air conditioning circuit to refrigerate eventual technical rooms.
